SPEECH THERAPY
Speech-language therapy is the treatment for most kids with speech and/or language disorders. If your child has a speech disability that includes trouble pronouncing words or understanding and expressing language then speech therapy can help your child to improve language development, communication, and pragmatic language skills. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs), also known as speech therapists, are professional who has studied human communication, its development, and its disorders.
SLPs/Speech Therapists assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral/feeding/swallowing skills. This helps them to understand what kind of language problem patients
may have, its causes and what is the best way to treat it.
